Congratulations to Yoav Kessler for the successful Ph.D. defense. Hopefully, soon we'll get a fresh new version of his thesis and the approval of the Senate of the University. Although this was on zoom, it was a very interesting and new experience. The Faculty of Engineering is now adopting the new method of Ph.D. thesis submission - if there are 3 accepted peer-reviewed publications, the exam is only with the face-to-face examiners and without an anonymous reviewer.
